Mille P. Andersen

Mille was hired by Swagelok in April 2023, as Application Engineer. She is trained as a Chemical engineer. She has, however, always worked within process systems. With 14 years of experience from offshore oil and gas and later renewable energy, she is the perfect fit for our team. Her focus has been on developing new technologies for, e.g., cleaning of produced water and production of electricity from salt water. Also, she has experience within design and risk assessment of electrolysers for hydrogen production.

“My contribution to Swagelok is my experience with teamwork across disciplines while ensuring uniform and robust project execution with respect for HSE, time, cost, and quality. Good communication, keeping focus and resolute decision making are key tasks in my daily work when completing client specific projects while ensuring compliance to specifications and international standards.” 

Her many years of experience within system designs from paper to finished product, development of new technologies and profound reporting has left her with great knowledge and tools to ensure successful project execution. She is motivated by establishing and following procedures, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that projects are executed at a high-quality level.

Mille is living together with her husband, Thomas and their two children, Victor and Clara. They also have an extra family member – Coco the cat. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching musicals and stand-up – sometimes she even takes the stage herself.
